As we mentioned earlier, the Razer Kishi V2 for Android devices can be found for ~100 Euro with some price drops depending on time and region. The retail package is well designed and in small dimensions.

Opening the box unveils its contents. Everything is well packaged and secured. You will find a useful printed manual and some Razer stickers included.

The main Razer Kishi V2 controller is also very secure inside a plastic foam.

The controller has a Nintendo Joycon thumbsticks design (small in our opinion) that is clickable, four Xbox-style buttons (ABXY), and four more buttons on the front side, three of which can be changed/remapped with the Razer Nexus app. The Type C connector is fixed, meaning cannot be moved, even slightly which would increase mobile phone with case compatibility.

The controller has three buttons in each area, R1/R2, and two programmable buttons.

There is also a TypeC port in the right area to charge your phone while playing. There is no headphone jack. At each handler, there is a textured surface to help you keep the device steady.

Installing an android device is easy. You have to pull both ends, place the mobile phone on the left side and then slide it inside the included Type C connector. After that give it a little push to be steady.

In our example, we placed a rather big mobile phone (Samsung Note 8) without any case, and we also fitted a bigger phone, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra again without any case. If you have a skinny case, its possible that the device would fit.

The whole structure is secure, and the mobile phone won't move unless you press it on the left side. Also, the back area is very secure, since it has a spring plastic case. By removing the included rubber inserts, some phones with phone cases can be used as well.

There is enough space at the back of the mobile phone that helps dispass heat.
