NVIDIA Presents New GeForce GTX Battlebox Systems For 4K Gaming

NVIDIA Presents New GeForce GTX Battlebox Systems For 4K Gaming

GPUs Oct 1,2013 0

NVIDIA is working with system builders to deliver the GeForce GTX Battlebox program - gaming machines purposely built to play this Holiday?s AAA, combat-focused games at super high resolutions, at high settings and every NVIDIA-exclusive feature enabled. Each GeForce GTX Battlebox performance powerhouse features GeForce GTX 780 GPUs in 2 and 3-Way SLI configurations, supported by overclocked Intel Haswell i5 and i7 CPUs, advanced cooling systems, DDR3 RAM and the latest high-speed SSDs. With the performance afforded by such setups, GeForce GTX Battleboxes are ready for 4K Gaming.

In addition to high-end kits, GeForce GTX Battlebox systems come equipped with NVIDIA?s new SLI Bridge, a solution that enthusiasts have asked for since we first revealed its existence alongside the GeForce GTX TITAN, last February. Themed to match the design of the TITAN, GeForce GTX 780, and GeForce GTX 770, the new SLI Bridge enables illumination of its GeForce GTX Claw logo, which matches the illuminated "GeForce GTX" text on the GPUs themselves. This piece of kit is available exclusively with Battlebox systems.

Alongside 4K-Ready GeForce GTX Battlebox systems, boutique builders will be offering 4K monitors at the point of sale. At present, only ASUS sell a 4K monitor in the form of the 31.5" PQ321Q, but expect a host of new models to choose from in the near future.

NVIDIA has worked with developers to ensure their games work flawlessly at 4K without config file hacks or NVIDIA Control Panel edits.

Digital Storm, Origin, Falcon Northwest and Maigear are currenty offering GTX Battlebox Systems. Of course, depending on the configuration, the Battlebox systems will cost you $4-6K, so be prepared and read more information here.
