Microsoft has accidentally announced that it is acquiring email startup Acompli in a post that briefly appeared on the company's official blog today. The post has been deleted but TechCrunch has managed to get a screenshot. It could be a strong indication that an official announcement is coming soon.

Acompli is a venture-backed startup headquartered in San Francisco. The company delivers mobile email for iOS and Android devices.

Microsoft and Acompli have yet to comment on the post.
