Matsushita to launch online video recording service for DIGA

General Interest Jun 8,2004 0

Matsushita Electric has announced the launch of "DIMORA," an online video recording network service especially dedicated for users of Panasonic "DIGA" hard disk DVD recorders. The full-fledged service, due launch August 1, enables the user to remotely browse online TV guides and record TV programs on DIGA from their mobile phone or PC.

The network service features NANO Media's TVnano/TV Guide Search, Interactive Program Guide's G-Guide, and Aloha Works' Televiva.

The services are available on a monthly fee basis, with prices start as low as 210 yen ($1.90) per month. DIMORA is currently offering a free trial service. The offer is good through July 31.
