MamboX Portable Mp3 CD Player

MamboX Portable Mp3 CD Player

General Interest Nov 30,1999 0

".Tagram introduces the revolutionary MAMBO-X P300 portable MP3 CD player. This exciting new device is the first and only portable CD player, which is able to play compact discs in multi-formats.

One key feature at the core of MAMBO-X is the Durable Laser Reader (DLR) decoder. This breakthrough technology allows MAMBO-X to read from a CDRW disc. The DLR decoder also supports Sub-Directory Readable (SDR) technology which accepts MP3 music in sub-directory and long file name.

With the Electronic Shock Absorption (ESA) System, the MAMBO-X spins discs faster than normal speed, while a digital memory buffer stores the extra audio data generated. When a sudden shock causes a tracking error, the system plays back music from memory (up to 45 seconds) until correct tracking resumes. The ESA system plays the longest time among other Anti-Shock devices in its class.

New technology reduces the amount of power consumed while the all features are being used. With two type AA batteries, you can enjoy approximately 14 hours of playing time. In addition to type AA battery operation, MAMBO-X equips built-in battery charger which is able to accept rechargeable batteries, or function with an included 90-240V Auto Switch AC adapter. Availability: December 1999 - Suggested Retail Price: US$ 179.." NULL
