Writing Quality Tests - C1 / C2 Error Measurements
The C1 / C2 error rate was measured for the recorded discs burned during the previous writing tests (jitter). The software used was UMDoctor Pro II, and the reader the Optorite DD0203 drive.

- Summary
The results are very good. Firstly, there were no C2 errors reported (red line in each of the graphs above). The C1 levels were all very low and perhaps just as important is that the levels are all fairly constant for each disc, which is a good indicator of quality writing. The only glitch occurred with Taiyo Yuden media at 16x where at the end the C1 rate spiked.
