Additionally, Power2Go 9 adds support for the popular media file types, such as FLAC and APE audio formats and MKV and FLV video formats.

Other features include system recovery for full backups of Windows systems and disc encryption with 128-bit or 256-bit security.

Creative users are able to make audio CDs and long-playing MP3 / WMA DVDs, create DVDs and VCDs with CyberLink's authoring tools, burn photo gallery discs that run on a PC and also get free menu templates through Cyberlink's DirectorZone community site.

Extras include the the ISO toolkit, which enables the mount of disc images as virtual drives and browsing of the contents of ISO files; CyberLink WaveEditor 2 audio editing software; audio conversion of audio CDs into MP3, WMA or lossless FLAC and APE files and; LabelPrint for the creation of CD/DVD labels.
