CyberLink will showcase the next generation of multimedia technologies at the Las Vegas, Hilton, Suite 2060, from January 7-10. "CyberLink will give you a glimpse into the future with our latest technological developments. Explore our Blu-ray 3D playback capabilities, DVDs transformed from 2D-to-3D, and advanced 3D gesture interaction as we step into the next level of digital entertainment," said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink.

CyberLink’s next generation of multimedia solutions on display includes:

- 3D Movie Entertainment on the PC – Demonstration of PowerDVD and reproduction of 3D movie titles as well as turning any 2D DVDs into a 3D on the desktop and notebook PCs. CyberLink will also showcase BD Managed Copy for enabling Blu-ray movie jukebox at home.

- 3D Gesture Interaction with Digital Media - By incorporating a visual gesture technology, CyberLink enables a new way to interact with your digital media applications. The company will showcase how users can access their photos and videos with PowerCinema and have fun with YouCam’s new augmented reality features.

- Accelerated Media Solutions for High-Performance Computing - By leveraging new computing technologies powered by Intel, NVIDIA and ATI, together with Microsoft DirectX11 DirectCompute API, CyberLink delivers improved performances for computing intensive multimedia applications.

- "On-the-go" Multimedia Experience - Netbooks and Nettops can be more than just surfing the net. CyberLink's line of multimedia solutions allow users of small-form factor PCs to watch DVD and Blu-ray movies with PowerDVD; convert video formats for portable devices such as iPODs, iPhones, PSPs and more with MediaShow Espresso; manage videos and photos with MediaShow; have fun with webcam effects with YouCam and access personal digital media anywhere on mobile devices including iPhone via CyberLink Live.

CyberLink has also developed a Linux version of PowerDVD to support Intel’s Linux-based Moblin 2.1 operating system. Moblin 2.1 operating system is specifically designed to run on the Intel Atom processor delivering minimized boot times and efficient power consumption on netbooks, Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs) and embedded devices.

CyberLink developed PowerDVD Linux designed for mobility and smaller screen size on the netbook platform.
