Cooler Master has released a new variation of the 80 PLUS GOLD certified power supply unit "V Gold v2" series . The 750W "V750 Gold V2 White Edition" with a white housing and the 850W model "V850 Gold V2 White Edition" will be newly released.

It uses an LLC DC / DC converter that suppresses power loss and noise, and 100% capacitors made by Japanese manufacturers are used. It improves stability and power efficiency under high load conditions. The cable is a full modular type that uses a flat cable, and especially for the PCI-Express power cable, a 16 AWG cable that is thicker than a general 18 AWG cable and has excellent conductivity is used. It achieves a high level of performance compared to general GOLD certified products.

In addition, the cooling mechanism is equipped with a 135mm diameter FDB (fluid dynamic bearing) fan that has low friction and is suitable for low-speed rotation. In addition to having a semi-fanless mode in which the fan does not rotate when the load is 40% or less, it can be turned ON / OFF with an analog "hybrid switch".

The external dimensions are width 150 mm, depth 160 mm, and height 86 mm. MTBF is 100,000 hours. The manufacturer's warranty is the longest in its class, 10 years.

The V750 sells at 109 EUR, the V850 at 119 EUR.
