Writing Quality Tests - C1 / C2 / CU Error Measurements

The C1 / C2 / CU error rate was measured from the recorded discs burned during the previous writing tests (jitter). The software used is PlexTools Professional v2.11 and the reader is the Plexwritter Premium drive.

- Summary

According to our measurements, the drive's CD writing quality was not good with many of the media brands we tested. Maxell was the only one with extremely high C1 levels, while CMC and HiSpace had high C2 levels. Taiyo Yuden at 24x and 32x had the best results while Ritek and MAM also had some C2 errors.
