Blu-ray Freeware Application Released

Optical Storage Mar 14,2006 0

Online Media Technologies announced at CeBIT the release of AVS Disc Creator 2.1 freeware, the first free CD/DVD/BD-compliant burning software at the today?s market of multimedia solutions. AVS Disc Creator 2.1 freeware supports Blu-ray disc media (BD-R, BD-RE) burning.

The software supports all the disc types (CD-R/RW, DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW, DVD-RAM, DVD+/R, Double/Dual Layer) and enables burning of data on high-capacity BD discs.

As well as BD features, the latest version also introduces broader burning capabilities packaged in the same interface. Free AVS Disc Creator now supports multisession feature that makes it easily manageable to burn multiple backups on one disc, import new session, add or delete new files and folders from the existing burning session or edit it.

AVS Disc Creator 2.1 also packs disc image feature, allowing users to create disc images (ISO files) and edit or directly burn the disc images on more CDs or even DVDs; remove or add files and folders from/to images at any time.

Online Media Technologies Ltd. releases now the French, German, Italian and Spanish versions of the program.

AVS Disc Creator 2.1 runs under Windows 2000/XP/2003. The software is distributed completely free of charge and has no trial periods, feature, time or other limitations, and no adware and spyware, according to the company. The software is available to download from the company?s website: www.avsmedia.com.
