Amazon Wants to Link Your Hand to Your Credit Card: report
Amazon.com is reportedly creating checkout terminals that could be placed in bricks-and-mortar stores and allow shoppers to link their card information to their hands.
According to sources quoted by the Wall Street Journal, shoppers will be able to pay for purchases with their palms, without having to pull out a card or phone.
The system is powered by Amazon cloud, which will store shoppers' data and might even tie it to Amazon.com spending to help target ads, the report claims.
Amazon is said to be working with Visa for test transactions, and is supposedly in talks with Mastercard.
