Acer expanded its line of ConceptD creator PCs with new Windows 10 convertible notebooks, a powerful workstation. The comapny also announced new Predator gaming monitors, the new TravelMate P6 notebook and more.
A CES 2020 Innovation Award honoree, the ConceptD 7 Ezel series features Acer's Ezel hinge that allows for five usage modes. The ConceptD 700 workstation was built to handle heavy content creator workflows with ease.
The ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro and ConceptD 7 Ezel leverage Acer's Ezel hinge, allowing for all kinds of working scenarios -- collaborating with a team, sketching with the included Wacom EMR pen or presenting work to clients. Designers can transform the device to best suit the task in front of them, choosing from five usage modes: sharing mode, floating mode, stand mode, pad mode or display mode.
The notebooks has a 4K IPS display (3840 x 2160 resolution) which deliver more than 8 million pixels and has a 400-nit high-brightness rating. The display also includes integrated color correction technologies and have been tested and calibrated to deliver fidelity in reproducing the PANTONE Matching System (PMS) Colors. This ensures true-to-life color reproduction with a 100% Adobe RGB color gamut and a color accuracy of Delta E <2.
The notebooks' touch screen displays provide a natural writing experience with the included Wacom EMR pen. EMR pens replicate the fluidity of ink and mark an improvement upon active capacitive technology. They don't require a battery and offer better precision, response times, resolution, pressure sensitivities, hover accessibility and durability.
The ConceptD 7 Ezel series' displays have been made of Gorilla Glass 6, so that they are resistant to drops. They also include an anti-glare coating.
Featuring up to a 10th Gen Intel Core H-series processor coming soon, NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs, up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory and up to 2 TB PCIe SSDs, the ConceptD 7 Ezel is ideal for heavy workflows. For professionals needing even more horsepower, the ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro features an Intel Xeon processor, NVIDIA Quadro RTX GPU, ECC memory support and Windows 10 Pro.
The ConceptD 7 Ezel series joins NVIDIA's RTX Studio program. Purpose-built for today's creators, RTX Studio products adhere to stringent hardware and software requirements. These select systems receive the RTX Studio badge.
Additional features on both the ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro and ConceptD 7 Ezel include two Thunderbolt 3 ports, an SD card slot, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, one HDMI 2.0 port and a smooth glass touchpad. Users can more securely log in using Windows Hello with the fingerprint reader on the power button.
Lastly, the notebook has been designed to stay cool and quiet, and produces less than 40dB of noise.
The all white ConceptD 7 Ezel includes a Micro-Arc Oxidation finish for strength and resistance to corrosion and oxidation. It also includes stain-resistant and high-abrasion resistant coatings.

The ConceptD 700 workstation features an Intel Xeon E processor and up to NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 graphics. It has a quiet operation of just 40 dBA and minimalist Scandinavian design-inspired aesthetics that include a white finish, woodgrain-inspired top side and smooth rounded corners.
Offering up to 64 GB 4x DIMM 2666 MHz DDR4 memory, fast storage options like on-board PCIe M.2 SSD that are ideal for complex design tasks and four internal storage bays supporting both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch HDDs, the ConceptD 700 is expandable to keep up with evolving workloads.
The ConceptD 700 uses three efficient cooling fans to draw air in through the triangular-patterned front air panel and then circulates it throughout the chassis. The workstation offers fast wireless charging for smartphones on its topside, plus cable management and a pop-out headset cradle that can be tucked away when not in use.
The CPU, GPU and memory usage can be monitored through the ConceptD Palette, which sports a health indicator to signal issues requiring troubleshooting. For physical security, a lock and an intrusion alarm help deter theft and unauthorized access.
The ConceptD 700 also receives the RTX Studio badge.
The ConceptD 700 will be available in EMEA in March starting at EUR 1,699.
B250i Portable LED Projector with Studio Sound
Acer announced its new B250i portable LED projector with studio sound. This compact device features wireless Full HD 1080p projection, auto-focus and audio fidelity in a portable chassis that easily slips in a bag.
Measuring in at only 205 mm x 204 mm x 78 mm and weighing just 1450 g, the Acer B250i has a pair of 5W chamber speakers with passive radiators featuring Waves Maxx Audio and Acer TrueHarmony technology.
The Acer B250i supports a Full HD 1080p projection that swiftly auto-focuses to the surface being projected upon at the press of a button. It features up to 1,000 ANSI lumens brightness, a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, and supports a wide color gamut of 120% of the Rec. 709 color space. The B250i's LED module offers up to a 30,000-hour lifespan and does away with the need to replace burnt-out mercury-based lamps.
Wireless screen mirroring is available over Wi-Fi for both Android and iOS users in addition to a standard HDMI port for connecting to and displaying content from a desktop or laptop computer. USB Type-C (display and charging) and Type-A ports are also available, supporting video-out for both smartphones and PCs. The B250i is ready-to-use out of the box with no additional software needed for screen mirroring or direct multimedia playback.

New Predator Gaming Monitors
Acer is offering gamers a trio of new Predator monitors that have large displays and a powerful feature set: the 32-inch Predator X32, 37.5-inch Predator X38 and the 55-inch Predator CG552K.
Acer also showcased at CES a preview of a 300 Hz IPS panel with 1 ms response time on its Predator Triton 500 gaming notebook. The panel supports vivid colors covering 100% of the sRGB color gamut and wide viewing angles.
The 32-inch Predator X32 features NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE to deliver the smoothest possible gameplay as well as a broad contrast ratio and expanded color palette. Featuring a 1152 zone local dimming mini LED panel with UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution delivering up to 1440 nits brightness, the Predator X32 is VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certified and delivers vibrant visuals. Featuring 10-bit color and a color accuracy of Delta E <1, it covers 99% of the AdobeRGB and 89.5% of the Rec2020 color gamut. Featuring a rapid 144 Hz refresh rate, the Predator X32 delivers clear and fluid visuals that are essential for tracking objects as they zip across the screen. Outfitted with an IPS panel, it provides wide angle views up to 178 degrees. The ergonomic stand furthers viewing comfort with adjustable swivel and height. Three HDMI 2.0 ports and DisplayPort 1.4 make connecting other PCs a cinch and four USB 3.0 ports make a convenient hub for connecting gaming sticks, mice and more. The Predator X38 gaming monitor has a 37.5-inch UWQHD+ (3840 x 1600) display and a 2300R curve that increases the peripheral view. With a NVIDIA G-SYNC processor, it produces smooth gameplay. VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification ensures brightness, contrast and color range. Thanks to Delta E <1 color accuracy and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, the Predator X38 lets gamers create compelling content. The monitor is also achieving up to a 175 Hz refresh rate (overclock) and 1 ms G to G response time in overdrive. Furthering viewing comfort, the ergonomic stand lets gamers adjust the monitor to find their optimum viewing position with -5 to 35 degree tilt, +/- 30 degree swivel and 5.11-inch height adjustment. HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 connect to a wide variety of systems, while four USB 3.0 ports offer fast connectivity to peripherals and devices. The Predator CG552K features a giant 55-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) OLED panel with millions of individual pixels. The panel supports up to 400 nits brightness, while Delta E <1 color accuracy and 98.5% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut provide lifelike color. It supports a variable refresh rate (VRR) via HDMI for smooth gaming on supporting devices. Both Adaptive Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, the Predator CG552K provides smooth gameplay. It also lets them make every second count with up to an incredibly fast 0.5 ms (G to G) response time via overdrive and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
A light sensor detects the room's light level and automatically adjusts brightness to optimize visual comfort. With its built-in proximity sensor, the Predator CG552K is able to detect if someone is within range, waking up when they're close and entering a power-saving mode when they leave the area. Connectivity options include three HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort v1.4 ports, a USB Type C port as well as two USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports. Two 10W speakers deliver 20W of dynamic audio and customizable light strips enhance the hardware aesthetic.

New TravelMate P6
Acer announced its latest TravelMate P6 and TravelMate P2 commercial notebooks. The 14-inch and 15-inch notebooks feature up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, comply with MIL-STD-810G U.S. military standards and run Windows 10 Pro.
The new Acer TravelMate P6 sports a magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis that is stronger and lighter than standard aluminum alloys at the same thickness. Weighing just 2.4 pounds (1.1 kg) and measuring only 0.6 inches (16.6 mm), it's easy to take on the road. It offers up to 23 hours of battery life and it can be charged up to 50% in less than 45 minutes. Optional eSIM-enabled 4G LTE connectivity enables users to work and collaborate on-the-go. Certified for Microsoft Teams, the TravelMate P6 delivers videoconferencing via a four-mic array that picks up vocals from up to 6.5 feet away.
Co-engineered with Intel as part of Intel's innovation program codenamed "Project Athena", the TravelMate P6 passed testing to achieve the program's experience targets and hardware specifications.
The new Windows 10 Pro notebooks are packed with up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, up to 24 GB DDR4 memory, up to NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics, and up to 1 TB of Gen 3 x4 PCIe SSD using NVMe technology.
Made to be MIL-STD-810G and 810F compliant, a set of military durability tests, the TravelMate P6 can survive the bumps from airport security, accidental drops and other mishaps. Other tests check the laptop's resistance to rain, humidity and extreme temperatures.
Outfitted with Windows 10 Pro, the TravelMate P6 offers security features to help safeguard data. Users can log in using Windows Hello via the fingerprint reader on the power button, or through the IR webcam that leverages biometric facial recognition. Both methods eliminate the need to remember and use a password. When the webcam is idle, the camera shutter can be physically closed for additional security. An integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 chip delivers hardware-based protection for passwords and encryption keys. The pre-loaded Acer ProShield includes a suite of security and management tools that help safeguard sensitive data, while Acer Office Management lets IT professionals deploy security policies and monitor assets from one interface.

The Acer TravelMate P2 can be connected to not only Wi-Fi but also 4G LTE networks. Intel Wireless Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology ensures users have a smoother wireless experience with up to three times faster speeds than standard Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The Nano SIM and/or eSIM-enabled 4G LTE saves users the hassle of finding a local data plan if Wi-Fi isn't available.

Spin Convertible notebooks get slimmer designs and latest processors
Acer debuted the new Spin 5 and Spin 3, updated models in its popular convertible notebook PC line that feature slimmer designs, the latest 10th Gen Intel Core™ processors and Windows 10 Home.
The new Acer Spin models both feature an included fast-charging Acer Active Stylus that employs Wacom AES technology, speedy Wi-Fi 6 and a full range of ports, including USB Type C with support for Thunderbolt 3.
The new Spin 5 and Spin 3 feature slimmer designs that make their convertible form factors more enjoyable to use with four usage modes: tablet, notebook, display or tent.
Measuring 0.59 inches (14.9 mm) thin, the Spin 5 (SP513-54N) features a 13.5-inch 2K touch display surrounded by slim bezels that are only 7.78 mm narrow, giving it an 80% screen-to-body ratio. The display's 3:2 aspect ratio adds 18% more vertical space compared to an equally wide 16:9 display. Plus, the Spin 5's magnesium aluminum chassis and palm rest make it durable and lightweight — only 2.65 lbs (1.2 kg). The Spin 5 also comes with an integrated fingerprint reader for fast and more secure logins via Windows Hello.

Both the Spin 5 and Spin 3 come standard with a fast-charging Acer Active Stylus using Wacom AES (active electrostatic) technology which replicates actual ink and paper with 4,096 pressure levels, so writing, drawing and all pen interactions are precise and realistic. The Spin 5 supports an optional Acer Active Stylus with Wacom AES 2.0 technology for an even smoother and more accurate writing experience.
The stylus' length resembles that of an actual pen (4.93 inches, 12.53 cm) and has a textured feel, making it comfortable to hold. When not in use, the stylus can be kept in a storage dock, where it's kept safe and quick-charged. It can be used for 90 minutes of active writing after just a 15-second charge.
