LiteOn LTC-48161H
We used Taiyo Yuden 80min 48X CD-R media and burned the same AudioCD project at all available recording speeds from 12X-48X.
- 3T Pit results
LiteOn LTC48161H gave low 3T Pit jitter values for all the recording speeds. Writing at 40X and 48X did not affect the Pit jitter level and the bahavior of the drive is generally good.
The average 3T Jitter values for all recording speeds are illustrated in the following table.
- 3T Land results
The drive unusually gave higher Land jitter values at the lower writing speeds. The 12X graph showed that the jitter reached the 42nsec, while the behavior for the 16X speed is better. The 40X and 48X speeds gave very good results.
On the graph above you can see the average 3T Land jitter values for all the supported writing speeds. As we have mentioned, the drive performed well at the highest writing speeds and gave increased jitter at 12X and 16X.

LiteOn LTC48161 performed well in the most recording speeds, concerning the jitter introduced to the discs. In most cases the jitter was lower than 35nsec, and the high recording speeds did not influence the overal quality.
