Super Talent has launched the Super Talent USB 3.1 Portable RAIDDrive, a small device that consists of two M.2 SSDs within the enclosure that are set up in RAID 0 to achieve increased performance. The drive uses the USB 3.1 interface and an ASM1352R (ASMedia) controller. According to Super Talent, it offers speeds up to 700 MB/s read and 650 MB/s write.

The device is available in sizes up to 1 TB and it is backwards compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, so users aren’t restricted to a USB 3.1 port.
