New Software And The Beat Goes On For Apple

New Software And The Beat Goes On For Apple

Enterprise & IT Jun 8,2015 0

Apple is expected to unveil a new music service and better tools to build apps for its Apple Watch at its annual gathering of developers in San Francisco on Monday. The maker of iPhones and iPads will introduce software improvements for its computer and mobile devices at its WWDC developer conference.

Apple depends upon third-party app developers to create software that help make its devices popular. In addition, a software development kit will be previewed that will give engineers the ability to write programs on the new Apple Watch directly and access to the device’s sensors,

Apple’s new music app will be home to the subscription service, downloads and a revamped version of iTunes radio, people familiar with the effort have said. It will include some exclusive video. The app will also feature artist pages that they can use to host videos, songs and other things for free. This is part of a program called Apple Connect. Apple will compensate the artists and labels for songs it gives away, as it has done with iTunes' "Free Song of the Week" feature.

Apple’s mobile payment service may get some enhancements including a rewards program that is seen as a way to keep consumers using the service.

The new mobile operating software (iOS 9) may allow for two apps running on an iPad to be shown at the same time, according to 9to5Mac. In addition, both OS X and iOS may see improvements to enhance performance. IOS 9 may include beefed up security and additions to Maps, including mass transit directions.

High-Speed Network And Data Centers

It is not sure whether Apple will talk about that during Monday's event, but we's heard that the company plans to support its content delivery and services with its own upgraded data centers and high-speed fiber networks or internet hubs, which will be located in various areas of the U.S.A.

The move would allow the company rely less in traditional network providers and technology suppliers in order to support its consumer services such as iTunes, iCloud or even Siri. Apple also uses without server space from cloud providers such as Amazon and Microsoft.

Apple's expected streaming-music service along with possible plans to expand to the TV market later in the year will increse the demand for fast and reliable network communications.
