LaCie Fuel Doubles Capacity
LaCie's Fuel wireless hard drive will be available this April with an expanded capacity of 2TB.
With the 2TB LaCie Fuel, users can go from 20 movies on a 32GB iPad to over 1,000 movies on the Fuel.
The LaCie Fuel offers the same features and form as the 1TB model, including wireless streaming of content to up to five devices without an internet connection; the ability to create its own Wi-Fi network and act as a hotspot when connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi; Airplay compatibility and; a 10-hour battery life.
The LaCie Fuel uses the Seagate Media app, which offers easy navigation of media libraries and documents on iPad or iPhone, Android devices and the Amazon Kindle.
The LaCie Fuel 2TB can be preordered through the LaCie online store for $249.99 (MSRP, USA only). It will be available worldwide through LaCie resellers later in April, 2014.
