Two New Handsets by Nokia
The world's largest cell phone maker Nokia unveiled two new handsets on Tuesday, the 2600 classic and the 1209, it said.
The new mobile handsets full useful features, range of colors or exchangeable covers for consumers in emerging markets.
The Nokia 2600 classic allows consumers to customize their phone with colourful covers and MP3 ring tones. The phone also features a number of entertainment features, including an FM radio and a VGA camera.
The second model introduced today, the Nokia 1209, offers a pre-paid tracker, a cost-tracking application, and the multiple phonebook - which allows up to five people to store personal contact lists of up to two hundred numbers on a single phone. The Nokia 1209 also incorporates dust resistance and offers up to 80 languages.
Nokia said the 2600 classic would retail at about 65 euros ($94) before taxes and subsidies and had begun shipping in the first quarter.
The Nokia 1209 would begin shipping during the second quarter at a retail price of 35 euros.
