DVD-RAM TuneUp 4.0 now supports Panasonic DVD-RAM/R and Pioneer DVD-RW/R/CD-RW super drive

DVD-RAM TuneUp ProTMis the one utility you need to set up, run, speed up, test & repair DVD-RAM drives and media. Its the world's first and most widely used UDF file system utility for Apple Macintosh and PowerMac computers. Version 4.0 now simplifies the operation of the new Panasonic DVD-RAM/R combination drives and the running of separate DVD-R and DVD-RAM drives on the same computer system. DVD-RAM TuneUp allows “drag & drop” functionality to DVD-R disks in addition to supporting standard DVD-RAM drives and media. We do this by using the world’s first integrated UDF file system and driver architecture that supports both block addressable DVD-RAM and sequential recording DVD-R media.

When using different software programs to run DVD-R, DVD-RAM and CD-RW on the same computer system, driver conflicts and file system queuing problems commonly occur. SAI’s integrated UDF architecture provides a single, easy-to-use, “drag and drop” interface that prevent these and reliably operates regardless of the type of disk inserted into the drive.

Other conventional DVD-R mastering applications require you to open a separate application, perform several operations to create a “virtual disk” file on the internal hard disk and then slowly write out to the disk. DVD-RAM TuneUp supports direct copying of files to DVD-RAM disks using its UDF file system based “drag & drop” interface.

The software’s UDF file system and drivers can mount and write to DVD-R and DVD-RAM as well as read DVD-R, CD-R, CD-RW, and DVD-RAM discs in the popular Panasonic drive and other “multi-read” disk drives made by a wide variety of manufacturers.

DVD-RAM TuneUp Pro is also the world's first Mac software for DVD-RAM Video Recorders and Camcorders. It's the right solution for fast & easy recording and downloading Personal Video files to Mac Systems without mastering.
