BenQ announces the C1000, featuring a 10.1 megapixel CCD image sensor, 3x optical zoom, and a 2.4" LCD. The C1000, successor to the C800,comes with awide range of user- friendly modes which includes 8 second shutter speed night scene mode and quick 4 continuous shot mode and printer mode. The C1000 supports VGA movie recording at 30fps with MPEG4 format and supports the PictBridge function.

The BenQ DC C1000 will be available in September.
