Redmi is collaborating with AMD for the launch of the first enhanced edition of RedmiBook 14 to carry an AMD Ryzen processor.
This new enhanced edition is featuring a powerful AMD Ryzen processor at a starting price of RMB 2999.
The RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition sports an AMD Ryzen 7 3700U processor with a core frequency of 4GHz, representing a 10% increase of overall performance compared to RedmiBook 14. It adopts an AMD Radeon Vega graphic card. It is also equipped with a high-performing heat dissipation system that includes a large fan and well-designed air outlets that offer stable performance even under heavy-load operations.
Featuring a metallic design, the RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition pairs a 14-inch FHD IPS display with a 5.75mm ultra-narrow bezel which allows for a screen-to-body ratio of 81.2%. The device offers 10 hours of usage in one full charge and supports 1C quick charge technology that powers up to 50% in around 35 minutes.
RedmiBook 14 Ryzen edition is also the first to launch MiDrop function, which supports quick file sharing between PCs and smartphones regardless of file formats, the number of files, and network connections. Additionally, the device leverages Modern Standby technology to achieve minimum power consumption in standby mode and supports Mi Smart Unlock 2.0.
Along with RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition, Xiaomi also unveiled the enhanced version of the Mi Laptop Pro 15 in 2018. The Mi Laptop Pro 15 Enhanced Edition has made upgrades on its processor, graphics card, heat dissipation system and screen.
RedmiBook Ryzen Edition features a new Grey color variant aside from the classic Silver color. All variants will be available for pre-order at a starting price of RMB 2999 through the Xiaomi official channel in Mainland, China.
