Leica Camera AG and Xiaomi are introducing the new Xiaomi 17 series. With the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Xiaomi 17, they are writing the next chapter in their successful technological partnership with the clear goal of bringing Leica’s signature style to life in mobile photography. The focus here is on Leica lens design, precise colour tuning and wide-ranging focal lengths for natural images delivering deep, clear and true-to-life colours.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra: Maximum Creative Freedom – From Wide Angle to Telephoto
With the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, discerning users benefit from a powerful mobile camera system that performs in challenging lighting conditions. It boasts a wide range of focal lengths – from dynamic wide-angled shots to strong telephoto perspectives. With a large 1 inch sensor, the main camera ensures particularly natural depth effects, clean details in low lighting and a wide dynamic range. For night photography and high-contrast scenes in particular, lights stay under control and shadows are differentiated, without seeming unnatural.
The new 200 MP telephoto lens (75–100 mm) offers a high degree of flexibility for portraits and distant subjects. Both kits add a two-stage shutter release and a separate video button, for example. The Photography Kit Pro also brings a PU leather surface to ensure a secure hold and an integrated 2000 mAh battery. The Photography Kit connects via Bluetooth and is designed to be particularly light.
