TerraMaster TOS 5 Announced and Launches Insider Preview Program

Enterprise & IT Nov 11,2021 0

TerraMaster, a professional brand that specializes in providing innovative storage products for home, businesses and enterprises, announces the TOS 5 update for TerraMaster devices. Throughout the year, TerraMaster added more than 50 features and more than 600 improvements to the TerraMaster TOS – more than 300000 lines of codes from our hardworking professional engineers.

The new and improved TerraMaster TOS 5 operating system is designed for professional users to meet business needs and more with improved responsiveness, tighter security, and ease of use. The TerraMaster TOS 5 features a new interface that’s designed to be more convenient and easier to use. Below are some of the key features of the new TOS 5 for TNAS devices.

More Responsive
The TerraMaster TOS 5 operating system is 3X more responsive than the previous version thanks to its progressive JavaScript integration. Now, the loading speed is faster and lighter to the system. With its new interface, managing your TNAS is simpler and straightforward.

Modern and Intuitive
The TerraMaster TOS has an intuitive design with a modern user interface to help even the most novice users manage their TNAS device with ease. Its improved lightweight and web-optimized design isn’t just user-friendly but also friendly to your system’s resources.

One-Time Password (OTP)
For improved security in this modern age, TNAS now supports the One-Time Password (OTP) security feature with TerraMaster TOS 5. This newly added user verification feature provides tighter security against unknown entities. OTP is generated via the TNAS mobile app, restricting users outside the network to gain security credentials on your TNAS device.

Comprehensive Backup Options
TerraMaster continues to enhance its data backup options for its TNAS devices. Now, the TerraMaster TOS 5 system is a unified portal to access multiple available data backup options. Backup options include central backup, TerraSync, dual backup, snapshot, USB Copy, CloudSync and other full range of backup tools to meet the needs of different clients, different backup strategies, and different data backup destinations.

TRAID Flexible Disk Array
By optimizing traditional array patterns, TerraMaster RAID provides you with flexible array configurations, flexible online migration, expansion, and redundancy strategies that provide solutions and security for changes in storage space due to new business requirements while increasing disk space utilization.

Efficient and Convenient File Deduplication
TerraMaster TOS 5provides flexible, secure file deduplication options to improve storage space utilization. The simple and intuitive configuration menu makes it easy for beginners to use, eliminating the need for training and reducing the cost of operation and maintenance.

TNAS Mobile 3 App
Along with the TerraMaster TOS 5, TerraMaster also updates its mobile app introducing the new TNAS Mobile 3. The improved TNAS app features a new user interface with new features including phone backup, photo management, personal folders, team folders, personal safes, TerraSync, administrative tools, and more. The new and improved TNAS Mobile App 3 makes remote TNAS access and management easier.

TerraMaster TOS 5 Insider Preview Program
TerraMaster is recruiting testers for the TNAS TOS 5. To participate in the preview program, please send an email to our team with a request to participate and tell your name, TNAS model number, the purpose of your TNAS, then wait for our further confirmation.
