OCZ Technology will be reportedly acquired by Seagate Technology Plc, a move that would to boost Seagate's solid-state drive (SSD) product portfolio. Fudzilla.com reported on Thursday that the deal could be announced as early as next week.

Seagate and OCZ Technology have not commented on the repor.
