Chinese flexible screen maker Royole will release new foldable phone on March 25.

Royole had originally planned to release the second-generation Folding Phone FlexPai 2 at MWC this year, but the MWC was cancelled due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

Royole CEO Liu Zihong confirmed the release of the FlexPai 2 for March 25.

The specifications of the new device are not known. Rumors suggested that the FlexPai 2 will be equipped with Qualcomm's 865 flagship platform, it will support dual mode 5G, along with both SA and NSA networking. It also supports 7-mode and 46-band, covering major network bands of global operators.

FlexPai uses the self-developed 2nd generation 7.8-inch Cicada-Wide flexible screen. The thickness of the fuselage in the unfolded state is 7.6mm, and it supports horizontal folding.
