New NVIDIA GeForce PCX (PCI Express-based product) Family Bundled With Leading PCI Express Motherboards from AOpen, ASUSTeK, Gigabyte, and MSI

NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual and media processing solutions, today announced that its top-to-bottom family of PCI Express™ graphics processing units (GPUs) are now being offered with the industry’s leading PCI Express motherboards from AOpen Inc., ASUSTeK, Gigabyte Technology, and MSI. Together with its partners, NVIDIA is helping to push the visual envelope and deliver seamless multimedia experiences with cinematic-quality graphics at its core.

“We believe PCI Express bundles are the perfect solution for OEMs and system builders who want to provide their customers with one efficient and complete PCI Express package,” stated Jeff Fisher, executive vice president of worldwide sales at NVIDIA. “By working with our partners, we are ensuring consumers can benefit from having one of the most reliable platforms, while enjoying the features, performance, and quality that NVIDIA products are world-renowned for.”

NVIDIA has been a key contributor to the joint definition, development, and deployment of PCI Express solutions. NVIDIA also serves as a member of PCI-SIG, the industry organization that owns the PCI Express specification.

“AOpen is proud to be offering our customers a chance to experience the benefits of PCI Express immediately by participating in this unique bundle program,” said Bernie Tsai, President of AOpen Inc. “We are excited to combine the power of our i915Pa-E, i915Pa-EFRII, and i915Gm-I motherboards with our Aeolus PCX5900-DV128 and PCX5750-DV128 graphics cards and bring this new technology to our customers immediately.”

“All of our graphics products are designed to meet our customer’s demands for features, performance, and visual realism, and by bundling them with our P5GD1 motherboards, we are providing end users with an easy migration path to PCI Express,” said Kent Chien, Senior Director, Multimedia Business Unit, Sales and Marketing Division at ASUSTeK. “This is certainly an exciting time to be a PC enthusiast!”

“Our new line of PCI Express-enabled motherboards, including our extreme performance 8 and PX series based on Intel newest 925/915 platform, are a perfect match for our outstanding PCI Express graphics cards, including our NVIDIA PCX5900 series—GV-NX59128D,” said David Chiang, GM of Channel Business of Gigabyte Technology. “Consumers looking for a great out-of-the-box experience will no doubt be very excited about this unique bundling opportunity.”

“Gamers and enthusiasts will find this unique opportunity too good to pass up,” said Jeremy Liaw, Senior Manager, Multimedia Department at MSI. “Our new MSI PCX5750-TD128 graphics cards combined with our new line of MSI 915 Neo 2 Platinum Edition motherboards will ignite the cinematic computing revolution, and help gamers gear up and play hard with this new technology.”
