Chaintech Corporation announced its SE68GS which utilize the NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GS graphics processing unit. Focusing on midrange price point, the SE68GS delivers even higher performance. Powered by NVIDIA 6800 GS processor, the SE68GS provides 425MHz engine clock, which is higher than the 400 MHz engine clock of 6800 Ultra. The Chaintech SE68GS features 256MB DDR3 SDRAM plus the 6800 GS GPU native 256-bit memory interface and delivers a 1000MHz memory clock. The provided outputs include HDTV-out, D-sub VGA out and DVI-I to meet all the outputs HTPC users and 3D gamers need.

The SE68GS also features advanced gaming technologies?including Shader Model 3.0, high-dynamic range (HDR) lighting, and NVIDIA Scalable Link Interface (SLI) multi-GPU technology.

Other features on the SE68GS include a 32.0 GB/sec memory bandwidth, 525 Million vertices/ sec, 5.6 Billion pixels/ sec fill rate, 64-bit floating point texture filtering and blending and NVIDIA UltraShadow II technology which accelerates the computations for determining shadow interactions and introduce more complex lighting effects in a high-quality lifelike scenes.
