Ahead Introduces 'Feurio!' CD Recording Software At Comdex 1999
"..Having already gained an enviable reputation in the local German market, Ahead Software is now introducing the English version of the audio CD Recording software, Feurio!
Feurio! is a true project management based application for audio CD creation. It can manage any number of projects including the manipulation of data between the projects. Tasks can be performed in a real multitasking way with the ability to read single or multiple CD's during the writing process. Its incredibly robust recording engine has been optimised to reduce buffer underuns to a minimum, even on lower specification devices. Furthermore it can use a little over 4% of CPU time when writing.
Feurio!'s powerful audio grabbing features can be adjusted to work with several CD-Roms ensuring that most devices can be read at maximum speed. A track editor is also provided for wave editing, and this works directly with the Feurio!® CD Writer ensuring that all actions will be done on-the-fly. Overburning of CD's is also supported and Feurio! has a special test mode, that you can determine the maximum capacity of CD blanks.
CD Text is also implemented, as well as a comprehensive database facility. It can also directly link to cddb.com for the downloading of song title data prior to burning. Depending on the type of codec on your system Feurio! can also work with MP3 files in a number of ways. This can extend to encoding, decoding and editing subject to your existing MP3 support. Therefore Feurio! offers a seamless audio recording alongside products such as Ahead Software's Nero.
For the true professional user, Feurio! 'Professional' offers the ability to write on multiple CD-Writers at the same time (even different CDs). For the users requiring the utmost flexibility in audio CD creation, Feurio! Professional can save both time and money.
