be quiet! continues to release many new products for the 2026 year, and this time a new keyboard appeared with the codename "Light Mount TKL". We have already tested the full size "Light Mount" and since that review, be quiet! listened to users feedback and apart from releasing a small keyboard, also upgraded the included switches with new features and improved performance, resulting the "Light Mount TKL" product. be quiet! also releases their own proposal for mouse pads, the "MousePad XL" to fully complete a be quiet! setup (mouse/keyboard/mousepad).

Designed for enthusiasts who demand precision, comfort and durability, Light Mount TKL combines a space-saving 80% layout with advanced silent mechanical switches, premium materials and extensive customization options. Available in both linear and tactile Silent V2 Switches variants, it delivers a smooth, quiet, and highly responsive typing experience for gamers, creators and professionals alike.

A triple-layer dampening system helps minimize typing noise and resonance, with foam positioned between the switches and PCB, below the PCB, and inside the bottom housing. Light Mount TKL also features high-quality PBT double-shot keycaps, hot-swappable support for 5-pin MX-style switches, a brushed aluminum top plate, and a detachable braided USB-C cable. Folding feet with three angled positions and a modular magnetic palm rest increase its ergonomics.

For control and customization, the keyboard offers an aluminum 3D Media Wheel, three macro or multimedia keys, per-key ARGB illumination, and illuminated side bars. A new feature for the Light Mount series is Quick Tap (SOCD), which prioritizes the most recent input when opposing movement keys are pressed, giving users faster directional changes in supported scenarios.

be quiet!’s IO Center for Windows software gives Light Mount TKL users full control over their keyboard experience, allowing them to customize per-key RGB lighting, assign unique colors and effects, remap keys for shortcuts, macros or Windows functions, and configure Quick Tap settings and paired keys. It also lets users create FN layer assignments, record and edit macros with up to 999 events, activate Game Mode, and keep the keyboard up to date with firmware updates, while storing many settings directly on the keyboard’s onboard memory so they remain active even when the software is not running. Another new unique feature is Color Calibration, which can fine-tune the Light Mount LED color to other devices in your system.

For those who prefer to not install software or who use a different operating system, IO Center for Web can be used on most Chrome-based browsers and allows access to most features.

Alongside Light Mount TKL, be quiet! is also launching Mousepad XL, a premium extra-large mousepad designed to complement modern setups with a smooth fabric surface, a stable anti-slip base, and minimalistic styling. Together, the two products reflect be quiet!’s focus on thoughtful engineering and high-quality materials.

Mousepad XL is designed for gamers and creatives who want a spacious, stable, and elegant desk surface. Its optimized soft and smooth fabric surface is made for precise tracking, effortless glide and lasting comfort, while the extra-large 900 x 500mm format provides generous room for both mouse and keyboard.

Enhanced with gold contact points on a copper lever, as well as optimized plating thickness on the internal mechanical components, they deliver highly reliable signal transmission and gaming performance. Every switch is hot-swappable with other 5-pin MX style switches, making customization effortless.

RULE OF 3
A total of 3 sound-absorbing layers ensure that Light Mount TKL lives up to the name of “be quiet!” and each gaming session is running smoothly without annoying typing noise. One layer of foam is between the switches and the PCB, another is under the PCB and a third fills the bottom housing. Any potential echoing noises are immediately muted.

BE BETTER WITH QUICK TAP
Quick Tap is built for gamers who need instant movement control in the heat of the action. With our implementation of Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Directions (SOCD), the keyboard prioritizes your most recent input whenever two opposing movement keys are pressed at the same time. This temporarily suppresses the previous input, enabling faster and more precise directional changes. Quick Tap is turned off by default and can be easily enabled, disabled, and configured via the be quiet! IO Center software or the FN function layer (FN+Q).

STRIKING LIGHTING
Light Mount TKL’s customization options are maximized with per-key ARGB lighting. Highlight important keys or create stunning effects. The translucent legends of the double-shot keycaps shine brilliantly thanks to an arched diffuser in each switch. The top edge of the keyboard also glows in your favorite colors, while ARGB LED strips on the sides provide a subtle underglow effect. This keyboard goes well with any RGB gaming PC.

3D MEDIA WHEEL
Take control of your music and videos with a programmable aluminum 3D Media Wheel. Attached on the left side, it is easier to reach it with the left hand. By default, it controls the volume, and you can press it to mute and unmute. A total of 3 mechanical macro keys can be programmed to control the rest of your media or set to game-specific actions.

PBT double-shot injection keycaps are the choice of champions due to their resistance to wear and tear.
