ASUS Announces TUF Gaming, ASUS Dual AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE Graphics Cards

ASUS Announces TUF Gaming, ASUS Dual AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE Graphics Cards

GPUs Feb 27,2024 0

ASUS announced the TUF Gaming AMD Radeon™ RX 7900 GRE and ASUS Dual AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE, two graphics cards engineered for premium gaming performance.

Complete your loadout with the TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE graphics card
Users who want maximum cooling with quiet operation need look no further than the TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE graphics card. With a whopping 5120 stream processors and clocks up to 2052 MHz (or 2391 MHz in OC mode)1, this card is poised to offer excellent performance in the latest games. Play at higher resolutions with more detailed textures thanks to 16 GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 256-bit bus and enjoy top-tier graphics in all their glory.

The TUF Gaming design shines most when it comes to cooling, thanks to a 2.96-slot all-metal design with a large heatsink and a vented backplate that allows heat to exhaust out the back of the card. Three 11-blade Axial-tech fans offer high airflow and static pressure when running, and they turn off entirely when under low loads so users can enjoy their PC in peace and quiet. The card’s Dual BIOS switch lets users choose between select modes focused on performance and quiet operation to fit their own personal tastes.

TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE graphics card is powered through two 8-pin power connectors, offering wide compatibility with a user’s power supply of choice. For example, the TUF Gaming Gold series, starting at 750 watts, is a great option for this powerhouse card. Plus, with Aura Sync-compatible RGB accents built in, users can coordinate their graphics card’s lighting with the rest of their system for a customized, unified look.

Big performance in a small package with the ASUS Dual AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE graphics card
For users looking for excellent performance per dollar — not to mention performance per inch of volume — the ASUS Dual AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE graphics card puts high-end AMD Radeon graphics into a dual-fan card, perfect for slotting into any build thanks to its wide case compatibility. Whether building a compact Mini-ITX system or a more standard tower, the ASUS Dual AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE offers the same excellent GPU as its larger sibling, with the same 5120 stream processors and 16 GB of VRAM.

With clocks up to 2013 MHz (or 2366 MHz in OC mode), this card is ready to handle whatever a user throws at it, while dual Axial-tech fans keep things cool during intense gaming or silent under lower loads. A Dual BIOS switch lets users prioritize performance or acoustics for customized operation that suits their unique needs. Gamers can pair it with an ASUS Prime Gold series power supply for reliable, stable power delivery with a similar retro-futuristic aesthetic that stands out from the crowd.

1. Boost Clock Frequency is the maximum frequency achievable on the GPU running a bursty workload. Boost clock achievability, frequency, and sustainability will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to: thermal conditions and variation in applications and workloads. GD-151
