Call of Duty Game Returns to WWII

Call of Duty Game Returns to WWII

Gaming Apr 22,2017 0

The popular game series Call of Duty will return to its roots after years of futuristic and modern settings.

Fans of the first-person shooter series, which has gotten modern and futuristic facelifts in its most recent installments, will be taken back to the setting where it all began: World War II.

Call of Duty: WWII will return players to the international conflict of the 1940s, the srtting of the original 2003 game. The franchise's last foray into the time period was 2008's Call of Duty: World at War, before continuing the modernizing trend with titles such as Modern Warfare, Advanced Warfare and the Black Ops trilogy.

The latest game will be released this November and is being developed by Sledgehammer Games, the studio behind both Modern Warfare 3 and Advanced Warfare. The game's official website will host a live-stream event at 10 a.m. PT on Wednesday, April 26, to debut a trailer and reveal specific details about the upcoming game.
