Samsung Introduces New Multimedia Player R0 in Korea

Samsung Introduces New Multimedia Player R0 in Korea

Consumer Electronics Nov 18,2009 0

Samsung today announced the South Korean market launch of its newest multimedia player, the R0 (YP-R0), featuring advanced audio and video capabilities together with a MicroSD external memory slot. The slim player has a 2.6" TFT LCD screen and features generous memory capacity with a built-in MicroSD memory slot that allows users to boost storage capacity by up to 16GB. Samsung offers the player in two versions with 4GB or 8GB of internal memory. Also, in conjunction with the launch of the R0, Samsung is offering a 2GB MicroSD card for consumers who register the product at www.emodio.com.

With "Drag & Drop" functionality, the device gives users the freedom to enjoy their audio/video libraries anywhere, anytime. The Samsung R0 also supports DivX, XviD, H.264 and WMV, eliminating the need for external conversion. In addition, Samsung?s patented DNSe 3.0 sound enhancement technology provides clear sound quality.

Among the many added features, the R0 includes an FM Radio, second-language acquisition programs and a text/photo viewer. The device ships in three colors: Black, Silver, and Pink. Prices are KRW139,000 for 4GB of internal memory and KRW179,000 for 8GB.
