The Toshiba FlashAir II 32GB SDHC MemoryCard is a very interesting product that conveniently adds a Wi-fi function to your digital camera, in case it does not already support wireless connectivity. In addition, it supports all file types and features an easily accessible web server from your PC and mobile devices running either iOS or Android.

The Toshiba FlashAir II SD card’s high speed Class 10 indicate that it’s well capable of reading and writing HD video and high-resolution images. However, its performance was lower than other SD cards, so you should expect speeds over 11-12MB/s for copy operations to the card and over 18-19MB/s when reading data to another storage medium.

The wireless functionality worked well enough and for sure, this is the advantage of Toshiba's offering versus other SD cards, being a feature that a lot enthusiasts are looking for to improve their workflow.

The FlashAir II cards are offered in 16GB and 32GB capacities and we should admit that they also come with a hefty price-point. The standard 32GB FlashAir II will cost you $62 (newegg.com, $50 amazon.com), which is almost $20-30 more than a typical 32GB SD card. So whether the provided wireless functionality deserves this extra cost is up to you. On the up side, Toshiba includes a five year warranty for the product.
