Sony Expands VAIO Ultrabook Line With Larger Model

Sony is expanding its VAIO T Series Ultrabook line with a new touch-enabled 39.5cm (15.5") model with Full HD. The Windows 8 ultrabook is packed into a slim aluminium and magnesium design and is available with an optical drive and full backlit keyboard with numerical keypad.

It also incorporates a wealth of connections and features such as Rapid Wake for fast power-up, a hybrid 500GB HDD +24SSD, long battery life of up to 6 hours and full set of interfaces including USB3.0, HDMI, VGA, Ethernet and SD Card. The T Series 15 also integrates Sony?s digital imaging and audio technologies.

The new model weighs 2.34kg and is available now with 3rd generation Intel Core i3-3227U, i5-3337U and i7-3537U processors starting at $770, $950 and $1,150, respectively.
