One to One Magazine Publishes Its Last Issue

One to One Magazine Publishes Its Last Issue

Optical Storage May 13,2010 0

The One to One magazine will be ceasing publication with its current as the optical storage industry shrinks. One to One has been a leading trade publication for the recorded media industry for 25 years. The magazine was established in 1985 to serve the then magnetic media industry, particularly raw material, equipment and tape manufacturers. Over the years it has provided industry publications at all the major trade events.

As the magazine's publisher explains, the past five years has seen significant consolidation in the international media manufacturing industry, which has made it increasingly harder for us the One to One team to operate without damaging the quality of the product.

"I'm pleased to say that while we maintained One to One's high standards, it has become increasingly obvious that the time has come for us to move on into other areas of technology," Joe Hosken Publisher, One to One said.

One to One's current editor, Elizabeth Toppin, is taking the magazine's legacy and setting up a new independent publication - Digital2Disc. This new product will continue to serve the international replication market and its readers with a physical magazine, electronic newsletter and other online products.

The new title will be released in July this year, with a special launch issue theme of sustainability in the optical media industry.
