Nokia Fixed N900 Connectivity Bug

Nokia Fixed N900 Connectivity Bug

Smartphones Apr 14,2012 0

Nokia said on Saturday it has fixed a software bug in its Lumia 900 smartphones which went on sale a week ago in the United States. Lumia 900 went on sale in the United States through AT&T on April 8. Earlier this week, Nokia announced that it had discovered a memory management issue with the smartphone that could, in some cases, lead to loss of data connectivity.

The update is already available - three days ahead of the company's schedule.

You an apply the update right now through Zune for Windows.

Nokia is also offering anyone who has bought a Lumia 900 phone, or who buys one by April 21, a $100 credit to their AT&T bill. The credit offer will remain in effect through Midnight PST on April 21st, Nokia says.

This week Nokia also warned its phone business would post losses in the first two quarters of this year as it struggles to revamp its product line to compete with Apple and Samsung.
