MWSF: LaCie debuts myriad of products

"...LaCie has announced a full complement of products ranging from a DVD-RAM drive to FireWire tape backup, this week at Macworld Expo in San Francisco:

- The LaCie DVD-RAM drive can be used with USB and FireWire-equipped Macs, as well as SCSI-2 and retails for US$699. The 4.7/9.4GB DVD-RAM drive ships complete with cables, the LaCie DVD-RAM software drivers for Mac and one 4.7GB DVD-RAM disc. LaCie also offers DVD-RAM media at $30 for the single-sided 4.7GB disc, and $59 for the double-sided 9.4GB disc.
- The 4x4x24x PocketDrive CD-RW, a 6" x 6" CD-RW that fits in the palm of your hand. The LaCie PocketDrive CD-RW can be used with USB and FireWire-equipped Macs and writes and rewrites at 4X speed, enabling users to burn a full 650MB CD-R or CD-RW disc in less than 20 minutes. The drive will also read all industry standard CDs at 24X speed. The drive retails for $399.
- A 16x40x10x CD-RW drive. Available as a SCSI-3 or USB/FireWire product, the $379 drive comes bundled with Toast from Roxio..." NULL
