Facebook will sonn be helping you better manage how you interact with your former partner on Facebook after a relationship has ended. Starting today, teh social network is testing tools you may want to try if you have recently changed your relationship status.
The tools give you the option to see less of your former partner’s name and profile picture around Facebook without having to unfriend or block him/her. The former's posts won’t show up in News Feed and their name won’t be suggested when people write a new message or tag friends in photos.
You'll be also able to limit the photos, videos or status updates that a former partner will see, or edit who can see their your posts with a former partner and untag yourself from posts with that person.
Facebook is starting to test these tools today in the US on mobile, and will make changes and roll them out further based on people’s feedback.
