Artec announces 16x DVD recorder

Artec announced an upcoming dual format DVD recorder, capable of 16x writing for DVD+R, 8x for DVD+RW as well as 8x for DVD-R. The internal drive is uses the "SuperLink" buffer underrun protection technology, as well as a vibration reduction system and its case design is engineered to maintain the appropriate air flow (ventilation) for the advanced cooling demands of high speed DVD recording. Availability is expected early August.
