DAE Tests

- Pressed and CDR AudioCD results

AOpen supports 40X DAE speed while Toshiba 32X.

As it was expected, due to the specifications for each drive, the AOpen drive was faster than the Toshiba. As we said in a previous page, the Asus and AOpen drives share the same chipset, as does the Samsung with the Toshiba. The performance between the drives confirmed this once again.

EAC also reported the following information for each drive:

AOpen
Toshiba

- Advanced DAE Quality

All tested drives received a perfect quality score of 100.The average speed was again higher for the AOpen drive over the Toshiba.
