AOpen Introduces the AEOLUS PCX 5900 and PCX 5750

AOpen Introduces the AEOLUS PCX 5900 and PCX 5750

GPUs Jul 13,2004 0

AOpen has unveiled the industry?s first top-to-bottom family of PCI Express graphic cards, the Aeolus PCX 5900-DV128 and Aeolus PCX 5750-DV128, delivering a new generation of advanced programmable techniques.

Both cards use the innovative PCI Express high-speed interconnect (HIS), a complex piece of networking technology that performs seamless, bi-directional interconnect protocol conversion at incredible speed lines. The AOpen Aeolus PCX 5900/5750 series contain the revolutionary nVIDIA UltraShadow technology; advanced pixel shaders in the new CineFX 2.0 engine deliver up to double the floating-point pixel shader power of previous-generation GPUs, allowing for faster, more efficient execution of even the most complex pixel shading tasks.

The AOpen Aeolus PCX 5900 and 5750 are designed to run perfectly with the next-generation PCI Express bus architecture. This new bus doubles the bandwidth of AGP 8X delivering over 4 GB/sec in both upstream and downstream data transfers. Equip your system with the AOpen Aeolus PCX 5900/5750 in order to play your TWIMTBP game with the best cinematic entertainment available in the industry.
