Advanced Media Adds To Its Impressive Lineup Of RIDATA Electronic Storage Readers at CES

Stylish, New 2-in-1 Unit Offers Read/Write Access to MultiMedia(tm) and Secure Digital(tm) Cards; Packaging Includes a RIDATA MultiMedia Pro Card.

Advanced Media, Inc., a subsidiary of RITEK Corporation, the world's largest optical media manufacturer, will be showcasing a new 2-in-1 memory card reader to its RIDATA-brand at CES 2005 The unit, which supports postage-stamp-size MultiMedia and Secure Digital electronic storage cards, offers USB 2.0 high-speed connectivity. The new unit is packaged in an eye-catching packaging that includes a RIDATA MultiMedia Pro card.

"We continue to evolve into a very mobile society," remarked Andy Huang, Marketing Manager for Advanced Media (RITEK USA). "Our goal at Advanced Media is to make mobility as easy and as convenient as possible when it comes to storing and accessing data. Our new 2-in-1 MultiMedia/Secure Digital reader allows users of these highly popular electronic media to be able to make use of their data, graphic, photo, and audio files at anytime and in virtually any situation."

USB 2.0 compliant, the new RIDATA 2-in-1 unit offers true plug-and-play capability as well as high-speed connection and a transfer rate of up to 480 Mbps. Its compact size allows users to easily transport it for use wherever a PC or laptop is available. A driver-CD is included in the package. It also supports hot-swap functions and features a power/access LED indicator.

The fashion conscious of the world will particularly like the reader's color scheme, as it is available in several hot, vogue colors. As a further inducement for consumers, each 2-in-1 unit is packaged with a RIDATA MultiMedia Pro card. Retailers can choose packaging with the following capacities: 128 MB, 256 MB, 512 MB, and 1 GB.

Users of the RIDATA MultiMedia Pro recognize its superior compatibility and low power consumption. Leading industry publications have continuously rated all RIDATA flash memory cards as very high for their fast read/write speeds and stability.

Along with its MultiMedia and Secure Digital cards compatibility, the RIDATA 2-in-1 memory card reader additionally supports Windows98/98SE/ME/2000/XP, Mac operating systems, and Linux Kernel.

The RIDATA 2-in-1 MultiMedia/Secure Digital memory card reader is available for immediate shipping. MSRP is dependent on the size of the MultiMedia Pro card included in the package.
