All PR related news for IBC 2026!

Hollyland
Hollyland unveiled an expanded lineup of wireless audio and video solutions targeted at professional live production and modern content creators. Highlighting their professional releases are the Pyro 7 Ultra—a 7-inch integrated wireless monitor and transmitter featuring 20ms latency and a 1km transmission range—and the Argus X1, an all-in-one live production switcher that unifies 4K60 switching, monitoring, recording, and streaming into a single unit. They also added two new wireless intercom systems: the ultralight 42g open-ear Solidcom C1 Air and the noise-canceling Solidcom SE 2. For content creators and podcasters, Hollyland showcased new microphones including the LARK A2, featuring 3-level AI noise cancellation, and the LARK M3, designed for multi-person recording with 32-bit float audio across four independent tracks. Additionally, they previewed the VenusLiv Air 2 camera for 4K60 streaming. Throughout the IBC event at Booth 11.C28, visitors participated in interactive "Roll & Win" giveaways while testing the hardware in hands-on production environments.

Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS)
Comcast Technology Solutions announced a suite of end-to-end, AI-powered workflow applications powered by its VideoAI platform. The solutions address practical media production challenges across Comcast Media360, Comcast Sports360, and Cloud Video Platform environments. Key features include automatic video verticalization for social media using smart cropping, AI-driven audio localization with automated captioning, and smart chapter detection for optimal ad insertion. The platform also introduces metadata enrichment to power natural language search, automated virtual "eyes-on-glass" quality control checks to detect audio and video errors, and natural language query-driven clip selection for highlight creation. Built on the Cloud Media Processing engine, these turnkey tools require no specialized in-house AI expertise. CTS showcased the full capability set at IBC Stand 5.C80, with commercial availability scheduled to roll out through 2026 and 2027 to aid broadcasters, operators, and rights holders.

Eluvio
Eluvio presented new updates to its Global Broadcast Fabric protocol, offering decentralized, zero-copy live broadcast distribution designed to replace legacy satellite, fiber, and cloud egress models. By utilizing just-in-time processing, the fabric routes live feeds simultaneously to B2B broadcast affiliates and D2C OTT endpoints without duplicating data or increasing egress traffic fees. The update introduces EVIE, an inline, frame-accurate multimodal AI system that runs inference directly on live and VOD feeds without copying files or transcoding. This powers dynamic server-side ad insertion (SSAI) and personalized virtual signage overlays directly within live sports streams at scale. Eluvio also debuted Pocket TV, a friction-free, white-labeled microsite for single-click live and episodic content purchases via digital wallets. Following a commercial pilot during the FIFA World Cup that achieved sub-second latency across 105 matches, Eluvio demonstrated these capabilities live across Stands 8.MS5 and 14.A58.

Sony Electronics
Sony Electronics introduced the SEL814G (FE 8-14mm f/3.5 Fisheye G), its first full-frame fisheye zoom lens designed for Alpha E-mount camera systems. The optic transitions continuously from an 8mm circular fisheye with a 180-degree field of view to a 14mm diagonal full-frame fisheye. Weighing 314 grams, the lens features aspherical and Extra-low Dispersion (ED) elements, a minimum focus distance of 0.15m, and an internal zoom design to preserve balance on gimbals and rigs. When configured in dual-lens setups using the VENICE Extension System Mini, its 64mm optical center spacing matches average human interpupillary distance to support stereoscopic 3D and spatial VR content creation. Priced at $1,599.99 USD, the SEL814G will launch in October 2026 following public hands-on demonstrations at Sony’s IBC booth.

Cataneo (Brand Engagement Network)
Cataneo, a division of Brand Engagement Network (BEN), introduced conversational advertising technology designed to turn traditional broadcast and streaming commercial breaks into interactive, one-to-one sessions. Powered by BEN’s proprietary Engagement Language Model (ELM™), the platform embeds conversational AI agents into ad inventory. Rather than watching static commercials, viewers can speak directly with AI agents to ask product questions, request personalized recommendations, and execute purchases directly within their viewing interface. The architecture allows networks to monetize ad breaks via transactional engagement, while offering advertisers measurable full-funnel conversion metrics. Cataneo showcased this engagement layer alongside its core advertising sales, scheduling, and traffic management software, which currently supports over 1,000 media brands globally.

iodyne
iodyne demonstrated its high-performance encrypted storage solutions integrated across multiple partner environments on the IBC floor. Co-exhibiting with Hedge at Booth 7.A36, iodyne showcased end-to-end capture-to-archive workflows by combining its Pro Data and Pro Mini Smart Drives with software tools like OffShoot and Canister. The European debut of the NAB-award-winning Pro Mini Smart Drive highlighted multi-booth deployments. In the Adobe booth, the drives powered RAW color grading inside Premiere’s Color Mode, while at RED Digital Cinema, Pro Data supported card-free R3D RAW ingest workflows. Rental partner Cintegral Technologies also featured the drives for remote 5G and free-space optical field transmissions. All demonstrations emphasized iodyne's "TruePut" standard, delivering hardware RAID-6 protection and XTS-AES-256 encryption at maximum bus speeds to accelerate production pipelines.

Dolby Laboratories
Dolby Laboratories unveiled major feature updates to its Dolby OptiView live sports platform ahead of IBC. The highlight is Dolby OptiView Sports Intelligence, an AI feature that analyzes real-time game state and viewer metrics to predict fan engagement drops, automatically surfacing tailored stats, narrative storylines, or adaptive multiview layouts. Dolby Vision was officially integrated into the OptiView platform, offering live HDR color and contrast dynamics. The Seattle Seahawks debuted this integration, delivering exclusive live programming and preseason content directly to fans through Seahawks.com and their official app. Additionally, Dolby expanded Dolby OptiView Ads beyond its proprietary player, adding support for external video players and becoming the first certified server-guided ad insertion solution verified within the Google ecosystem.

Quickplay
Quickplay debuted its Engagement Quality Score (EQS), a workflow-embedded AI tool designed to evaluate and rate the monetization and audience retention potential of streaming catalog assets. Integrated directly into Quickplay’s Content to Value Operating System, EQS analyzes catalog data to help media operators surface underutilized content, refine curation, and tailor distribution strategies. The platform and EQS suite were demonstrated live for attendees at IBC Stand 5.G86.

SIRUI
Optical manufacturer SIRUI showcased its growing camera lens ecosystem, headlined by the upcoming Aurora 15mm F1.6 full-frame autofocus lens, which won an IBC 2026 "Best of Show" award. The lens offers an ultra-wide focal length, low optical distortion, a 0.3m minimum focus distance, and in-house developed aspherical glass elements. SIRUI also presented the Saturn V2—a 1.6x full-frame anamorphic lens supporting both horizontal and vertical shooting formats—alongside the compact Aurora 24mm video lens and the upcoming "Daily Carry" Swift autofocus series. Exhibiting at Booth 12.D31, SIRUI hosted filmmaker talks with industry creators and announced rolling product launches for the Aurora and Swift series over the coming months.
