Samsung Electronics' digital cameras seems to fade away into history, as the company has decided to halt production and sales.

Samsung's latest digital camera model was the mirrorless NX 500 model, which was released in March of 2015.

Samsung is stepping away from the digital camera business due to changes in the market, as the explosive growth of smartphones has negatively impacted the demand for Samsung's strong selling entry-level digital cameras.

However,Samsung's Gear 360 camera, smartphone cameras and others have reborn as new product lines.
