ASUStek A8R-MVP Motherboard Adopts ULi M1575 South Bridge

ULi Electronics announced that ASUSTeK has incorporated ULi M1575 south bridge in their latest A8R-MVP motherboard. The A8R-MVP supports AMD 939-pin Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core processor that delivers multithreaded/multitasking performance.

Featuring the multi-GPU CrossFire technology, the A8R-MVP motherboard enable end-users to take advantage of the performance benefits offered by the next-generation multi-GPU technology such as providing twice the frame rates of single GPU.

The motherboard features M1575's advanced storage capabilities for multiple disk RAID environments and SATA II 3.0Gbps supporting Native Command Queuing (NCQ) capability to provide efficient disk management and enhanced storage performance.

The M1575 south bridge provide interface to the north bridge via the PCI Express link.
