Samsung Will to Reverse Galaxy Fold Fiasco in Press Conference

Samsung Will to Reverse Galaxy Fold Fiasco in Press Conference

Smartphones Jun 8,2019 0

Samsung seems to be ready to launch its flexible Galaxy Fold smartphone next month and try to reverse the negative PR it received in a press event.

According to South Korean media site newstomato, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Fold next month. The company is expected to hold a press conference before the end of June in order to share the changes and enhancements the company made to the Galaxy Fold.

Last month, Yonhap News Agency reported that Samsung made two basic improvements to the Galaxy Fold. The protective layer on the display is now tucked into the body and the gaps at the hinge are reduced to prevent debris from getting in.

The Galaxy Fold was initially scheduled to launch in late April, but Samsung delayed the launch after reviewers encountered display soon after using the new device. Previously, the company had canceled pre-orders after failing to launch the smartphone in May.

Samsung has not yet confirmed the press event.
