Nikon Corporation (Nikon) is pleased to announce the release of the NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.4, a wide-angle prime lens that is compatible with full-frame/FX-format mirrorless cameras for which the Nikon Z mount has been adopted.

The NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.4 is a wide-angle prime lens with a fast f/1.4 maximum aperture, yet available at an affordable price. Not only does it allow users to easily enjoy the soft expressions offered by large bokeh and three-dimensional rendering that make the subject stand out, but its wide-angle 35-mm focal length also enables the capture of a wide variety of scenes and subjects, from landscapes and snapshots to portraits and photos of flowers and pets. The minimum focus distance of 0.27 m allows users to get close to subjects such as food and flowers, and to create works that emphasize the main subject with large background bokeh. Despite its f/1.4 maximum aperture, the NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.4 has a total length of approximately 86.5 mm* and weighs around 415 g.
