"...MoveMoney and Eastman Kodak Company's Division of Digital & Applied Imaging today formalized a strategic alliance to integrate Programmable CD-ROM Technology into Piracy Management Solutions for the software industry.

"The hybrid CD-R and CD-ROM capabilities of the media allow for both the mass replication of MoveMoney's patent-pending media-based copy protection features as well as the secondary process of embedded product serialization. MoveMoney is delighted to be in a position to promote the value of Kodak's Programmable CD-ROM Technology as a viable means by which software manufacturers can effectively produce, distribute, and leverage the strong marketing potential held by protected software applications," continued Vishwanath.

Piracy Management differs from typical anti-piracy solutions by enabling the software manufacturer to customize the protection of product applications distributed on CD-ROM or via the Internet in formats that leverage strong customer relationship and marketing opportunities. The purpose of Piracy Management is to provide software manufacturers an immediate return on investment by significantly increasing legitimate sales and decreasing both production and distribution costs. Piracy Management enables software manufacturers to not only protect a product and further incent licensed customers, but to also capture, connect, and convert unlicensed users into paying customers..."
