Motorola Launches New Z4 Modular Phone

Motorola Launches New Z4 Modular Phone

Smartphones May 30,2019 0

Lenovo's Motorola is launching the 4th gen of its Moto Z line, the Moto Z4.

Packed with new features, the new smartphone comes with an advanced low-light camera system, including a super sharp night vision mode, 2-day battery, expansive OLED display, and 5G connectivity with the 5G moto mod.

By snapping the 5G moto mod onto the back of moto z4, you'll be able to be one of the first to experience Verizon’s 5G network.

Speed is also built into the moto z4, powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 675 2GHz octa-core processor.

The device is equipped with a 48 MP rear camera sensor and uses new Quad Pixel technology to capture 12 MP images every time. With 4x better light sensitivity, plus optical image stabilization to steady unwanted camera movement, and guidance from artificial intelligence (AI) features, the moto z4 snaps professional-looking photos.

With the new Night Vision mode, the 48 MP sensor can capture bright photos in the dark. Night Vision layers together 8 separate frames, each taken with different exposure values, and performs dynamic noise reduction and sharpening.

The 25 MP front-facing camera gives you unreal selfies with the option to switch to 1.8µm Quad Pixel mode for brilliant photos in any lighting. You can even step up your selfie game with portrait mode for an artistic blur effect in the background, capture the wide angle scene with group selfie mode, and control touch-ups with AI-based beautification.

Motorola gave the moto z4 a massive 3600 mAh battery, the largest ever on a moto z, with up to 2 days of battery life. When you do plug in, TurboPower charging gives you hours of power in just minutes of charging.

The z4 has a 6.4″ Max Vision OLED display that supports Full HD+ resolution. The optical fingerprint sensor reads your fingerprint through the display, then fades away, so there’s no need for a separate button or sensor.

With moto mods, you can customize the new moto z4. Attach the moto 360 camera to capture moments in interactive, 4K 360° video with 3D audio. Or, take the multi-tasking, hands-free capabilities of Alexa anywhere you go with the smart speaker with Amazon Alexa. If gaming is more your thing, snap on the moto gamepad.

In the U.S., the new moto z4 will be available at Verizon in Flash Gray on June 13 and in Frost White later this summer for $499.99. For a limited time, Verizon customers can get the moto z4 at just $240 ($10 per month for 24 months) with new activations. Additionally, when upgrading an existing line get up to $200 a moto z4, no trade in required. The moto z4 will be available universally unlocked at Best Buy, B&H Photo, and on Amazon.com (with Alexa Hands-Free) starting June 6 (Presale May 30) bundled with the moto 360 camera moto mod for $499.99.

Verizon customers in the U.S. can purchase a 5G moto mod through Verizon for $199.99 ($349.99 MSRP). For a limited time, Verizon 5G Ultra-Wideband is included at no additional charge for moto z4 on Above Unlimited and Beyond Unlimited plans.

In Canada, the new moto z4 will be available later this summer.
