ASUS has announced its new Strix 2.0 Multi-Platform Gaming Headset, a new stereo gaming headset compatible with PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, smartphones, and tablets. Strix 2.0 features large, 60 mm neodymium-magnet drivers as well as a dual-microphone design with a detachable boom mic for in-game chat and an in-line mic for on-the-go use.

Strix 2.0 comes with a Y-adapter and a 1.5m extension cable with separate headphone and mic plugs for compatibility with both PCs and Macs. Additionally, the included native four-pole 3.5mm audio/mic combined connector enables Strix 2.0 to be used with smartphones, tablets, and PlayStation 4 gaming consoles.

It is also travel friendly, with its easily removable microphone boom and a foldable design.
